During this short holiday week we published the first two parts of a new Crime Story series. And we presented a compilation of some of my most memorable interviews with storytellers in the world of crime and justice.

Welcome to our summary of the week’s events at CrimeStory.com and The Crime Story Podcast.

This week we published Part 1 and Part 2 Charlie Bagli‘s four-part essay, Susy Berman’s Greatest Unfinished Story, a continuation of Crime Story’s ongoing coverage of the Los Angeles trial of Robert Durst for Berman‘s murder. Berman was found shot in the back of the head execution style in her home on the edge of Beverly Hills on December 24, 2000. This past Thursday, Christmas Eve, marked the 20th anniversary of the discovery of Berman’s body by the Los Angeles police department.

Charlie Bagli has been covering the Robert Durst mystery for two decades, mostly for The New York Times, but also for Los Angeles Magazine and Town & Country magazine and now for Crime Story.

We will publish the last two parts of Bagli’s series next week.

And on Thursday we published a collection of links to eleven memorable interviews from The Crime Story Podcast with storytellers who have produced stories in the world of crime and justice.

Hannah Teich’s condensed curation of the particularly interesting stories from the Crime Story Daily will be back next weekend. But you can check in on all of the recent Crime Story Daily lists here.

And finally, here is your opportunity to catch up on previous Crime Story Newsletters.

Thanks again for reading and listening.
